My wolf pack, take 2. We spent another night at Great Wolf Lodge for a mini staycation. I needed this. Distraction free time with my family. It is busy season for me...the fall is prime portrait season, always with a camera in my hand and my laptop close by. Winter is coming. I keep telling them that. But I don't want to miss this time either. I adore them. Canon 450D || Canon 24 pancake
This one was extra special. My photog friends wedding. I spent the day watching her celebrate the most important day of her life....and I get to be the one to tell her story. Happy wedding day, Tara+Adam! Canon 5DIII || Sigma 35 ART
This is what happens when you leave your two year old with a pen in the backseat of the car. Nuff said. Good to know though that pen comes off fairly easily with baby wipes. Canon 450D || Canon 24 Pancake
Daddy and bubby went for a run so we shelled out the bubbles. It was a crabby day for this little guy with lots of grumps and tears. I was tired. But we put that aside and for 20 minutes we played and laughed. I like when the day ends this way and different from how it started. Even the tough days have their bright spots. You have to look for them or create them. Canon 5DIII || Sigma 24 ART
It was gorgeous. Just perfect and sunny. { Big boy little } bought a styrofoam plane from the craft store with his allowance...and of course a little plane for { baby little }. We headed to the soccer field to test them out. I think { big boy little } was a bit disappointed that it didn't soar up into the sky but we enjoyed ourselves none-the-less. This is my love. Sunday morning with coffee in his hand, his computer and the boys playing on the floor. He is gorgeous, even with his bedhead. I loved the light and he (sort of) accepted my camera in his face. Thanks babe for being a trooper. Canon 5DIII || Sigma 24 ART
My little rock stars. Our new jam has us all dancing : Downtown, Macklemore. Check it out. The music video would also explain the 2nd pic. Canon 5DIII || Sigma 24 ART
This is what a stay-at-home-mama and photographer's workspace looks like. Legos, cars, little boys...computer, papers, card readers, planner. This is my life and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Canon 5DIII || Sigma 24 ART Part II of my day. The boys and I danced in the kitchen before bedtime and { big boy little } was my little photographer...capturing the moment with me and { baby little }. Oh my heart. Love.

What now?It truly is a labor of love each day to search for just the right image(s)...the ones that represent our daily lives...edit them, organize them, write about them. What a wonderful experience and an amazing amount of growth this year for me. It has been a great journey but one I am not jumping into again just yet. I am going to take a breather, let the dust settle and let inspiration find me and lead me to my next project. For now, I will continue to post about our lives but only when I feel it.
