We started swim class a week ago. We get in the water and I am amazed at how brave he is. He only hesitates once or twice and from a distance you probably couldn't even tell. His head under water, sliding down a falling into the water, kicking to the edge and holding on...he did it all. The kids in the class have 5 weeks on him but it was like he had been there the whole time. It amazes me how the 2nd child gets his bravery from the first. He watches his brother conquer new things and doesn't give them a second thought. Tonight I got in the water again with him but since it wasn't possible to capture this myself, after bath I pulled him onto the step next to our tub and asked him to show me his flutter kicks.

What now?It truly is a labor of love each day to search for just the right image(s)...the ones that represent our daily lives...edit them, organize them, write about them. What a wonderful experience and an amazing amount of growth this year for me. It has been a great journey but one I am not jumping into again just yet. I am going to take a breather, let the dust settle and let inspiration find me and lead me to my next project. For now, I will continue to post about our lives but only when I feel it.
