Some days it's hard to get my shot. I get to the end of the evening and I'm waiting for something new to unfold to add to the list of moments that make up our daily lives. Somehow inspiration is always there if I look hard enough. Of course it is a phone shot...no amazing photo skills here, but I loved the moment. He is in his towel but otherwise naked, sitting on the counter that we have all been sharing as the master bathroom is getting a new floor. Daddy is trimming his nails and he's looking at himself in the mirror. I wonder what he is thinking. His full toddler cheeks and round baby belly. I love all the details and the quiet of this little moment before bed.
It truly is a labor of love each day to search for just the right image(s)...the ones that represent our daily lives...edit them, organize them, write about them. What a wonderful experience and an amazing amount of growth this year for me. It has been a great journey but one I am not jumping into again just yet. I am going to take a breather, let the dust settle and let inspiration find me and lead me to my next project. For now, I will continue to post about our lives but only when I feel it.
