I could be absolutely nuts. I've decided to jump right off the deep end and start a photo/journaling project. As if I don't have enough craziness going on (as we all do). So why....
I think in images. Our lives (my husband, my sons) are documented in photographs. I am the family historian. And, truth by told, if I look back on the last year, I am sure I completed a 365 last year (capturing moments EVERYDAY for 1 year)...my iPhone is always on me and DSLR on the counter in the kitchen...just incase I need it at a moments notice. I collect images like they are treasures.
But this year I want to be intentional. I want to commit to growing in my craft and stretching myself every chance I can get. I will post my images here...this is my accountability to myself. I intend to follow through. I no doubt will get backlogged and find myself posting weeks of images at a time. I know myself. I am not going to pressure myself for perfection but try my best to enjoy the ride. Here we go!
My first image of the year. I love this moment. I love the light around him. Our baby (as we call his little brother) is napping and daddy is working on a project. It's just us on a little play/photo shoot. I had over 200 images and many where he was flying through the air or jumping on his bed. But this one is the one I chose...the moment in between. Those are the moments I crave.
