I am going to take a breather,It has been the perfect project, although in the weeks leading up to the end I was certainly losing my steam. It truly is a labor of love each day to search for just the right image(s)...the ones that represent our daily lives...edit them, organize them, write about them. What a wonderful experience and an amazing amount of growth this year for me. I see things, the ordinary things....and they look more amazing to me than they did just a year ago. We have this daily record of what our days looked like. It has been a great journey but one I am not jumping into again just yet. I am going to take a breather, let the dust settle and let inspiration find me and lead me to my next project. For now, I will continue to post about our lives, but any time I please, thank you very much...when I feel it.

It has been an incredible year. There are no words to describe my gratitude for everything 2015 has brought to me and our family.
And as it is New Year's Eve...we continue the tradition. We have always hosted a new year's party. And although in the past it was all adults, food and drinks...some things haven't changed. No matter what the makeup, the { L Family } has always been there. The last two years it has been just the 8 of us. We played, laughed, drank (well...not the kiddos unless you count the sparkling grape juice)...it was the best way to ring in the new year. I like to see him doing something for enjoyment sake. He works so hard and gives so much to us...I wish he would take out more time for himself....he deserves it and so much more.
Just so you know. If you eat homemade pizzas in our house, you get a little something extra special with them. Made with love by { baby little } and mommy.
He asked Santa for the Lego space shuttle set for Christmas. I imagined that it would take him a couple days, maybe a week to complete. It took 3 hours. He's a smart one, that boy. And then he showed me how it works. I love his imagination and creativity.
It was a Lolly the Trolley Tour to the Christmas Story house. As long as I can remember we have spent Christmas day watching the movie on a loop. Pawpaw, Nena and our little fam enjoyed exploring the home. {Big Boy Little } and I recreated parts of the movie ourselves.
Baking sweater cookies for Santa, writing letters with stickers with their Crayola's....a Christmas movie and some cookies for the boys.
