Allowance is a part of growing up.  Since he turned 5 he gets a weekly payout of $5...$1 for giving, $2 for savings and the last $2 for spending.  He had seen the Play-Doh gravel yard listed on the back of his Play-Doh brick mill and decided this is what he wanted to spend the weeks of collected allowance on.  Daddy gave him his old wallet and we made a name tag for the inside (lamination and all).  It was a proud moment when his first purchase as a big boy was made at my home-away-from-home (wink wink).  You're all grown up now kid.  Next it will be a mortgage payment and house repairs.

    What now?

It truly is a labor of love each day to search for just the right image(s)...the ones that represent our daily lives...edit them, organize them, write about them.  What a wonderful experience and an amazing amount of growth this year for me.  It has been a great journey but one I am not jumping into again just yet.  I am going to take a breather, let the dust settle and let inspiration find me and lead me to my next project.  For now, I will continue to post about our lives but only when I feel it.
