In the blink of an eye, he is five. The last tiny bits of littleness are melting away. I have watched him grow from this shy, seriously little baby into a giggly, goofy little man. He is a creator. He builds. He tells stories. He makes me laugh. He is loving, oh so very loving. He tells me multiple times a day how he loves me and his daddy and his baby brother. He is sensitive and a little people pleaser. He loves movies and super heroes and star wars. He likes costumes and pretend and paling around with his "baby". I could list a hundred different things that make up this beautiful boy who calls me mama, but I won't. Right now, in this moment in time, I feel so very fortunate to be the person who knows him best so I'll keep some of that to myself. Thank you for the happiness you bring into our lives, for all the ways you have helped me grow and for letting me and daddy be the ones to guide you on this journey. Happy birthday, baby.

It truly is a labor of love each day to search for just the right image(s)...the ones that represent our daily lives...edit them, organize them, write about them. What a wonderful experience and an amazing amount of growth this year for me. It has been a great journey but one I am not jumping into again just yet. I am going to take a breather, let the dust settle and let inspiration find me and lead me to my next project. For now, I will continue to post about our lives but only when I feel it.
