I live in Cleveland. We get snow. Lots of snow in fact. It's been 12 years of these winters...but the amount of snow we get still amazes me. Although the drive home was a bit uneasy, the scenery was magnificent. I gave my boys a snack, threw on my snow boots and stood on the deck trying to capture what I was seeing with my eyes. Beautiful fluffy flakes like cotton candy falling from the sky. I was trying to take it in...how the snow sits gently on the branches and needles on the tress. I am surprised at myself this year. How I am seeing the winter in a new way. I am actually enjoying it. And although I will be begging for spring once March hits (knowing that it may not come til May), I'm going to enjoy the magic for now.
